Do you have some of
your priceless
memories on video tape or film reels? Even under the best of storage
conditions, these formats break down over time and with use. To
preserve these treasured memories, you should have them converted to
digital format and stored on a DVD. In so doing, you can also
improve the overall viewing experience by adding opening and closing
titles, merging in appropriate still photos, and adding music and
captions. To see what we mean, take a look at the video below. It is
a brief excerpt from an 8mm film reel shot during a tour of service
in the United States Navy (over 40-years ago!). There's some great footage here but it
lacks something; there's only so much interest that you can muster
in a silent film. There's a reason why movie directors add
background music to their productions!
Check out the short
film below; it's an excerpt from the original 8mm silent film, then
click on the "Next" button below the video pane to see how the
experience can be transformed with the proper application of an
opening sequence, music, and still photos.
QUALITY
ALERT
The picture resolution
and size of this demonstration video is NOT representative of what
you would see in a final production.
The quality has been
deliberately compromised to keep the file size as small as
possible while still allowing you to get a sense of how we can
combine your pictures, videos, and music with our creativity and
special effects to create a truly unique experience. Rest assured
your completed production will be a high-resolution, DVD-quality
video that will play, in full screen, on your television or PC.
