The first link is a brief clip of an original 8mm film reel we were asked to convert to DVD. The request came from a woman wanting to surprise her dad by transferring his vintage Navy film footage to DVD for easy viewing. It was a very thoughtful, touching gesture but, once complete, she had to agree that 25-minutes of silent film was fairly boring and difficult to sit through. So we had her dig up some still photos from her dad's days in the Navy, added some non-intrusive effects and appropriate music, and the result was a much more vibrant and engaging video.
